Valerie Grignol M.D. is an associate professor of surgery at The Ohio State University in the division of surgical oncology. Her clinical practice focuses on the treatment soft tissue sarcomas of both retroperitoneum and extremity and breast cancer. She is the program director of the Complex General Surgical Oncology fellowship. Her research interests include improvement in quality of care for cancer patients through collaborative groups and the development of biomarkers for early detection and to monitor treatment of sarcoma. She also has strong interest in improving healthcare workforce wellness and is the James Physician Wellness Medical Director.
