I am a surgical oncologist at the University of North Carolina in Cnapel Hill. My clinical practice focuses on patients with bresat cancer and sarcoma. I also have a translational research lab where we develop clinically relevant cancer models and study how breast tumors respond to therapy. In particular we are interested in how cancer cells change how genes are regualted to become resistant to therapy and use this to identify therapeutic vulnerabilities of reprogrammed gene expression..
