Dr. Perati is a PGY-3 General Surgery Resident at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed a two-year Surgical Oncology Research Fellowship at the National Cancer Institute from 2023–2025, where she studied peritoneal surface malignancies and advanced gastrointestinal stromal tumors. Her research interests also include healthcare disparities in clinical trial access and cancer care. Dr. Perati plans to apply for Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship this Fall.
