Dr. Seth J. Concors is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Surgical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine, where he also serves as Director of the Surgical Oncology Research Fellowship. Dr. Concors specializes in the multidisciplinary management of gastrointestinal and peritoneal surface malignancies, with particular expertise in neuroendocrine tumors and cytoreductive surgery.
Dr. Concors earned his medical degree with honors in basic science from New York University School of Medicine, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his general surgery residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by fellowship training in Complex General Surgical Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
At Emory, Dr. Concors is committed to advancing surgical education and innovation, serving as Associate Program Director for both the General Surgery Residency and the Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship. His research focuses on improving outcomes and quality of life for patients with gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors and peritoneal metastases, supported by NIH funding and national collaborations. He is an active member of multiple national committees within the Society of Surgical Oncology, the Association for Academic Surgery, and the North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society.
