Nicole Aguirre is a general surgery resident at Yale and recently completed a research fellowship at Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center, developing targeted drug therapies. She graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in Chemistry and Weill Cornell Medicine with a Degree of Medicine. Her research focus is treatment of peritoneal carcinomomatosis of appendiceal and colorectal origin. Other research interests include the study of health disparities, social determinants of health and system-level care practices.
