Richard L White Jr MD FACS FSSO is the Chief of Surgical Oncology and Endowed Professor of Surgical Oncology at the Levine Cancer Institute, and the Department of Surgery, Carolinas Medical Center, Atrium Health in Charlotte, North Carolina. A graduate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons he trained at Georgetown University and the National Cancer Insitute. His interests include the care of patients with breast cancer and cutaneous malignancies. He has served on the NSABP breast committee and chaired the ASCO breast symposium. He has served as the Chair of the SSO Melanoma Disease Site Working Group.
