David Su MD is a T32-funded PGY4 General Surgery Resident at Yale School of Medicine. He is pursuing a career in Complex General Surgical Oncology with a focus on tumor immunology and integration of spatial multi-omics into cancer care and research. His academic work spans digital spatial biology in melanoma subtypes and metastases, national guideline development for peritoneal surface malignancies, and liver cancer research. He is passionate about surgical training, multidisciplinary collaboration, and translating scientific insights into meaningful improvements in cancer care. On his free time, he enjoys travelling with wife and son, reading, and ballroom dancing.
