Timothy McMullen, PhD is a medical student at the University of California, Irvine and a current trainee in the UCI Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP). His doctoral dissertation examined the role of NK cells in the immune response to brain metastasis and defined new methods for enhancing NK-cell mediated anti-metastatic immunity. His current work focuses on the role of NK cells in the response to appendiceal adenocarcinoma.
