Lucy Frucht is a second-year medical student at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine with plans to pursue OB/GYN. A graduate of Harvard College, Frucht studied the History of Science, focusing her senior thesis research on the history, politics, and interplay of breast cancer and AIDS activist movements. Before medical school, Frucht worked as a Communications & Advocacy Associate at Global Health Strategies, working with clients including the Gates Foundation and the Rockefeller Foundation to advance their health promotion strategy and messaging. As a co-leader of Medical Students for Choice NYC and through active involvement in health equity research, Frucht is passionate about working to reduce disparities in women’s health and OB/GYN.
