Assistant Member Surgical Oncology
Moffitt Cancer Center
tampa, Florida, United States
I am an academic surgical oncologist specializing in gastrointestinal surgical oncology with a focus on peritoneal surface malignancies. I completed my training at the University at Buffalo and the University of Pittsburgh, where I served as Administrative Chief during both my general surgery residency and complex general surgical oncology fellowship. I also completed a 2 year surgical oncology research fellowship at the NIH National Cancer Institute. In September 2024, I joined the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center, where I am committed to expanding our multidisciplinary peritoneal surface malignancy program through both clinical care and research. I strive to improve outcomes and quality of life for patients with peritoneal disease by addressing its unique tumor biology and treatment challenges through innovative approaches, including intraperitoneal therapies, immunotherapy, and translational research in the tumor microenvironment. I am dedicated to continued growth as an academic surgeon, collaborating with other scientists, and learning from mentorship to achieve these goals. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, running, and cheering for the Buffalo Bills.
