I am a general surgery resident at Houston Methodist Hospital, where I have completed three years of clinical training, and a current T32-funded surgical oncology research fellow at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center under the mentorship of Dr. Anthony Lucci and Dr. Nancy Perrier. My research focuses on translational oncology and liquid biopsy approaches, with particular emphasis on circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in inflammatory breast cancer, melanoma, and parathyroid carcinoma. My career goal is to become an academic surgical oncologist, with a focus on integrating insights from cancer biology into treatment decision-making to ultimately improve outcomes and quality of life for patients with cancer.
