I am an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Surgical Oncology and Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) Surgery at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist School of Medicine. I hold a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, with expertise in tissue engineering and extracellular matrix biology, and have published in high-impact journals including Nature and PNAS. My research program is centered on precision oncology using patient-derived organoids. My work bridges surgical oncology, bioengineering, and immunology, with the goal of delivering individualized, laboratory-informed treatment strategies to patients with challenging malignancies.
