Dr. Gleisner is a board-certified surgical oncologist at the University of Colorado, with dual fellowship training in Complex General Surgical Oncology and Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery. As the director of the Liver Multidisciplinary Program, she is dedicated to the comprehensive treatment of patients with hepatobiliary and metastatic malignancies. Her surgical expertise includes robotically-assisted complex hepatobiliary procedures, with a focus on liver resections, placement of hepatic artery infusion pumps, and biliary resection and reconstruction.
Dr. Gleisner’s research is centered on advancing outcomes in hepatopancreatobiliary surgery through innovative mixed-methods approaches, combining large-scale data analysis with qualitative insights. She actively collaborates with national leaders in HPB surgery, fostering interdisciplinary research to drive progress and innovation in the field.
