Martin Heidinger is a Clinical Fellow in the Breast Clinic at the University Hospital of Basel, Switzerland. He is a consultant for Gynecology & Obstetrics and a research associate in the Surgical Breast Cancer Research Group led by Prof. Walter P. Weber, as well as in the Bentires-Alj Laboratory at the Department of Biomedicine Basel, which focuses on tumor heterogeneity, metastasis, and therapy resistance in breast cancer. Dr. Heidinger obtained his medical degrees from the University of Basel (Switzerland) and the Medical University of Graz (Austria). His clinical and research interests center on the impact of surgical treatment decisions on oncological outcomes, therapeutic decisions, surgical outcomes, and patient-reported outcomes.
