Dr Amit Agrawal, MS, FRCSEd, DM, FRCS, is a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon and Associate Professor at Cambridge University & Hospitals, UK. He lectures worldwide and has published over 150 papers and abstracts, including co-editing a book on "Pedicled Flaps in Partial Breast Reconstruction." A decade ago, he founded the Cambridge Oncoplastic Breast Course, which focuses on chest wall perforator flaps, mammaplasty, and implant dissection. He leads the ‘Brecon’ research initiative, including the 'PartBreCon-Pro' international study on chest wall perforator flaps and the 'PerfAct' studies. He has received multiple grants from the UK’s NIHR and UKRI. His research interests include endocrine therapy, initiated during his academic training at the University of Nottingham. He has served as a co-investigator in many trials, including Pioneer, PBCP, Atnec, Miami, Neo-RT, and others. He is a member of several societies, including the ABS Academic and Research Committee, and has been an expert reviewer for the EU Cinderella trial, NICE, NIHR, and various breast-specific journals.
