Dr Tsilimigras is a General Surgery Resident (PGY-3) at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He received his MD degree (summa cum laude) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece in 2017. He obtained a PhD from Univeristy of Athens, Greece. He completed a Postdoctoral research fellowship at the Division of Surgical Oncology, Dept of General Surgery, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center during residency as part of his professional time. He also completed a Master of Science (MS) with a focus on clinical investigations at the Ohio State University.
Dr Tsilimigras’ clinical interests include Surgical Oncology and HPB Surgery. He has published more than 400 peer-reviewed articles in journals such as Annals of Surgery, JAMA Surgery, Annals of Surgical Oncology, British Journal of Surgery and others. His work has been cited more than 12000 times. He is an Associate Editor in 1 scientific journal, an active Editorial Board member of 6 journals and has served as a Reviewer for more than 25 scientific journals.
