Aatur D. Singhi, MD, PhD is a Professor of Pathology at the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he holds the Giant Eagle Endowed Chair for Cancer Genetics. He serves as Vice Chair of Translational Pathology and Co-Director for Pancreatic Cancer Research at the NCI-designated UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. A surgical pathologist with subspecialty training in gastrointestinal, liver, and pancreatobiliary pathology, Dr. Singhi has been continuously funded by the NIH for the past decade. His work is also supported by grants from the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, National Pancreas Foundation, the Sky Foundation, and generous donations focused on improving patient care through precision medicine.
