Giao Q. Phan, MD, FACS is a Professor of Surgical Oncology at University of Connecticut/UConn Health Neag Cancer Center. She specializes in melanoma and endocrine surgery and has been involved in pivotal clinical trials in immunotherapy and cell therapy. She received her M.D. from Johns Hopkins University and completed general surgery residency at Ohio State University and Washington University in St. Louis. She completed immunotherapy research fellowship at NIH/NCI Surgery Branch and Surgical Oncology fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center.
