Miss Olivia Sharp is a UK-trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon with specialist expertise in oncological reconstruction. Following higher surgical training in South East England, she completed a dedicated microsurgery fellowship at The Royal Marsden, where she is currently working as a Locum Consultant Plastic Surgeon.
Her clinical practice focuses on reconstruction following breast cancer, skin cancer, and soft tissue sarcoma. She has a particular interest in microsurgical reconstruction for complex oncological defects and works closely within multidisciplinary cancer teams to optimise both functional and aesthetic outcomes for patients. Her approach is patient-centred and underpinned by evidence-based decision-making.
In addition to her clinical work, Miss Sharp is academically active, with multiple peer-reviewed publications and national and international presentations in breast reconstruction, microsurgery, and oncological outcomes. She holds an MSc in Cancer Biology from University College London, awarded with distinction, and is committed to surgical education at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
