Dr. Andrei is a Professor in the Division of Biostatistics and Informatics, Department of Preventive Medicine in the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. His current biostatistical methodology interests include machine learning-based prediction in health outcomes research, multi-site observational longitudinal studies, cluster-randomized trials, causal inference in observational studies and randomized clinical trials, electronic health records outcomes research, nonparametric or semiparametric survival times and recurrent/successive events, and patient-reported health-related quality of life. He has a sustained track-record of productive research collaborations in the biomedical research space, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, oncology, and endocrinology.
