Dr. Chinenye Iwuji trained in the UK, earning a BSc in Physiology from the University of Dundee (1999), a medical degree from the University of Southampton (2003), an MSc in Oncology from the University of Nottingham, and a PhD in Cancer Studies and Molecular Medicine from the University of Leicester. She completed oncology specialist training at University Hospitals of Leicester, becoming a consultant and receiving MRCP (2009) and Specialist Certification in Medical Oncology (2013).
She is President of the British Nigerian Oncology Group (BNOG), a charity fostering collaboration between UK-based and Nigerian oncologists to improve cancer care. In 2021, she relocated to Nigeria as Head of Medical Oncology at Lakeshore Cancer Center, where she manages all solid tumour types, leads palliative care development, and drives global research partnerships.
Dr. Iwuji values academic excellence, clinical expertise, and international leadership to advance oncology and cancer care delivery.
