Dr. Michael G. White is an Assistant Professor within the Department of Colon & Rectal Surgery and a faculty member within the Transcend Cancer Initiative at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He has clinical expertise in the surgical management of peritoneal metastases of colorectal origin including cytoreductive surgery and heated intraperitoneal chemotherapy. His translational research interest revolve about the role of the tumor microenvironment and the role of microbial agents in altering responses to immuno and cytotoxic therapies.
